Food Safety
FAMSUN is continuously improving its solutions to strengthen food safety. Our R&D efforts on eliminating contamination in feed mills have made great progress and help reduce residues in conveying systems by 25%, reduce that in mixers by 50% and in conditioners by 30%. Latest fermentation technology is introduced to help produce feed free of antibiotics. Digital services such as Intelligent Traceability Platform can provide transparency and traceability along farm-to- table value chain.
Environmental Protection
We innovate and develop intelligent and ecological animal farming solutions to increase farming efficiency, and to protect environment as well. Our waste water recycling and treatment solutions can help to protect the water system nearby the farms from pollution, while our solid waste and animal mature management system can eliminate potential pollution to land and air, and is able to convert them into useful organic fertilizer and clean biogas.
No Poverty
FAMSUN is activated in poverty alleviation at anywhere it doing business. By collaborating with local governments, FAMSUN constructed a nutritional food project to aid undernourished people in Ethiopia in 2013. In China, FAMSUN donated a 10,000 t/y feed mill to Xijiang Province.With its farm-to-table solutions, FAMSUN has helped more and more people increase incomes, improved their nutritional status, and promoted local economic growth as well.
Access to Clean Energy
FAMSUN is dedicated to promoting the consumption of clean and affordable energy in its processing solutions. Equipment such as gas-fueled dryer and energy recovery system are developed to improve energy efficiency in customers' operations. The gas-fueled dryer, comparing to the traditional steam dryer supplied by a coal-fired boiler for example, can reduce toxic gases emission by 50%, reduce dust emission by 70% and decrease energy consumption by 20%.
Climate Action
FAMSUN is committed to sustainability and combating climate change. Every year, we invest more than 5% of our sales revenue in R&D to create innovative processing solutions to help customers promote energy efficiency, cut water and resource use, and reduce waste in their operations. With advanced digital solutions, the China's first intelligent feed mill we constructed for CPF(Chongqing) can achieve the sustainability targets of cutting labor by 50%, reducing machine down-time by 48%, decreasing energy waste by 18%, while improving operating efficiency by 20%, and producing safe and quality feed as required.
Social Responsibility
As an important participant and builder of local economy and food security, FAMSUN takes social responsibility seriously at where it doing business. Examples include creating employment, contributing to tax incomes, transferring technologies, fostering talents, etc. FAMSUN has been activated in collaborating with governmental and intergovernmental organizations to make insights into future challenges, pool wisdom to find solutions and make actions. So far, the Training Courses on Grain, Edible Oil and Food Processing Technologies program has trained more than 300 young managers from 44 developing countries.
Grain Losses Reduction
As a leading solution provider, FAMSUN provides advanced "enclosed transport and bulk-in and bulk-out" grain handling, drying and storage solutions for farmers, which helps to reduce grain post-harvest losses from 8% to 1.5%, or about 900,000 tons a year.
